Alex Finalyson was a mainstay of the Cardiff side of the 1970s. Playing mainly as a centre in total he represented the club 264 times between 1967 and 1979, scoring 134 tries. A policeman born and bred in the city he also represented Wales 3 times, making his debut against Ireland in 1974.
